The source code of eLaborate is available in an Open Source version. The code and documentation can be found in Github, see https://github.com/HuygensING.

The eLaborate back-end page https://github.com/HuygensING/elaborate4-backend has a README file which describes how to install eLaborate4, including code base, database and SOLR setup, and how the REST API can be addressed. It also contains a description of the publication process.

GitHub also has a licence file (LICENCE.txt) which gives an overview of the conditions under which this Open Source version of eLaborate can be used (GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE Version 3, 29 June 2007).

Published editions in eLaborate are enriched with Dublin Core metadata.
